For this exposure, Barangay Timalang proudly recorded zero cases of home delivery, continuing our collective commitment to maternal and child safety. All three out of three pregnant residents gave birth at health facilities in April, maintaining a 100% facility-based delivery rate for the first quarter of 2025. The continued zero home birth outcome reflects the persistent collaboration between healthcare workers, local government, and the community.

To uphold this standard, we implemented active tracking of all pregnant women, ensuring they receive proper care at each stage of their pregnancy. Our prenatal monitoring remained exceptional with 100% prenatal consultation rates across all trimesters for both March (20 mothers) and April (30 mothers), as reported by the Barangay Health Center.

As part of our educational efforts, the group conducted continuous mothers’ classes, covering topics such as prenatal care, signs of labor, birth preparedness, and the importance of skilled birth attendance. These sessions aimed to empower women with knowledge and encourage them to choose facility-based deliveries to avoid complications associated with home births.

Additionally, we worked hand-in-hand with local officials to strengthen LGU policy implementation, reinforcing the commitment to the “No Home Birth” ordinance through ongoing policy dialogue and capacity-building activities.

These united efforts, supported by strong community participation, accurate data monitoring, and proactive health education, are driving Barangay Timalang closer to a future with consistently safe, facility-based deliveries.
