No to Teenage Pregnancy Initiatives

Teenage pregnancy continues to be a rampant issue in the Municipality of Ipil, one of which is Barangay Timalang. During this exposure, the group continued to advocate and disseminate information through health education on reproductive health and teenage pregnancy prevention at Timalang National High School. During the health education, the students were given a pre and post-test questionnaire to test their knowledge on the topic discussed. The health education was done in an interactive and enjoyable manner to ensure that the students continue to listen and say interested, there were prizes given during that day – all of which were in partnership with the adolescent focal person, Ms. Nadelyn Buenavista who made all of this possible.

One of the future plans for the community health plan on Teenage Pregnancy include inviting Ms. Nadelyn as a resource speaker to speak more about adolescent pregnancy and ways on how to prevent it.
